While we can’t claim tropical temperatures at this time of the year, we’re certainly having a run of luck. Today sees the first real snow we’ve had this year and even then it is light. Crisp but as you can see we still have some blue sky – comparing that to other parts of the country – we’re very lucky so far.

A Great August in Bellingham

The Bellingham show (27th August) is now over for another year – put the date in your diaries for next year. See their Facebook page.  Weather is looking ok – a little rain but still warm.

2016 Updates for Hollyberry Cottage

Lots going on – we’ve completely re-done the downstairs bedroom which now has vastly improved lighting… we’ve now properly cleaned out and insulated the bike storage area outside updated the parking area with new gravel and a new sign  in that area which is now considerably improved.

Coming up:

25th May 2016 – Heritage Centre – guided walk to discover the natural history of Hareshaw Linn.

27th August 2016 the Bellingham Show.

11th September 2016 – Heritage Centre – guided  Walk of Hareshaw Common and the Pennine Way

More to come – I just thought I’d do a quick update.

At last – a perfectly working heating system! 3 months it has taken and I ended up doing it myself.

You have just got to be here to believe this – after a RUBBISH April the weather has suddenly picked up – the last few days have been wonderful and it’s looking like an excellent weekend for walks in and around Bellingham.
